Rewriting the record books: F1's stats and facts in the wake of the British GP

Records were matched and/or shattered in this past Sunday's British Grand Prix, while new ones were set in the process.

The headlines belonged to Red Bull and Max Verstappen, and fans should brace themselves for what is quickly shaping up to be a record-breaking year for the Austrian team and Dutch driver.

Here's how F1's books look now coming out of Silverstone.

• Verstappen ties with Daniel Ricciardo's record of 29 consecutive classified race finishes in Red Bull colours - the longest run for a driver representing the team. • McLaren had a very good race, and Lando Norris' P2 is the team's first podium in the British GP since Lewis Hamilton finished P2 in 2010. It is also Norris' first time appearing on the podium at his home race.

• Norris and Hamilton are the first British drivers to appear on the British GP podium since 1999, when David Coulthard and Eddie Irvine
