Returnal: SteamDB listing codenamed Oregon Leaked

Returnal might soon be coming to PC as a new SteamDB version of the game has leaked online and here’s all you need to know about it.

Sony has been leaning heavily on expanding its reach and recently even released some of its big-name franchises to the PC platform, allowing a wide range of players to check out the title.

The company has already shared their interest in making its games available on other platforms, as recently mentioned by the president of the PlayStation business that the company is looking to release half of its annual games on PC and mobile by 2025.

A fresh leak seems to further solidify Sony’s sentiments about bringing first-party games to PC. The leaker has spotted a new SteamDB version of Returnal, a game released on PS5, signalling that a PC release might be imminent.

Here’s everything we currently know about this new Returnal SteamDB version leak.

Developed by Housemarque, Returnal is a shooter roguelike game set in a futuristic science fiction setting, where you take control of Selene Vassos, who is a space pilot stranded on the alien planet Atropos, and stuck in a time loop.

The game was well-received by both critics and audiences and is considered a PS5 hit. Now, a new listing on Steam‘s database has surfaced, suggesting that the PS5 exclusive title is coming to PC. The game goes by the codename ‘Oregon’ on the SteamDB.

One of the things that appears to give away the game is the tags namely, “rogue-like”, “sci-fi” and “bullet hell”, but the most obvious clue that the game is Returnal are the references to Tower of Sisyphus and Atropos, which are a part of Returnal.

Returnal was previously teased to release on PC from a huge ‘leak’ of unannounced games on Nvidia’s GeForce Now streaming service
