Restaurant's hilarious attempt to reunite customer with abandoned teeth makes it onto Loose Women
An appeal from an Oldham restaurant to reunite an owner with a pair of teeth left behind after a party has made it onto Loose Women. Owners at The Barclay on Rochdale Road in Royton discovered the full set of teeth left on the floor by the bar area on Saturday night (March 19). Concerned that someone may need them back, staff packaged them up in a plastic bag.
The teeth were found as staff were cleaning up following a party, with staff later posting on social media in a bid to find the owners of the lost choppers. On Monday (March 20), restaurant owner Emma Whelan told the M.E.N she received a picture of the teeth from a supervisor after they came across the teeth. Emma said: “We had a party upstairs and it was busy downstairs as well. We didn’t find the teeth until the end of the night.”
She added: “Our supervisor Cameron found them. They were on the floor by the bar. It’s a full set of teeth. I particularly wanted to post it because someone is definitely missing them.”
Earlier today, the story made it onto ITV’s popular daytime talk show Loose Women. Presenter Christine Lampard said: “A restaurant owner has made a hilarious plea on social media after someone left behind their false teeth.”
