Released WWE star returns to WWE for shock creative role

Former 24/7 Champion Drake Maverick is back with WWE, following his second release from the company in November last year.

Maverick has endured a roller-coaster ride since making his debut for the company in January 2018. Initially given the role as 205 Live’s General Manager, he later managed the Authors of Pain on Raw before being released by WWE in April 2020.
