Recap: USA thrashes Mexico as Sullivan becomes youngest scorer - ESPN
After its 4-1 win over Peru and 4-2 win against Chile, Mauricio Pochettino's United States side thumped its oldest rivals Mexico 3-0 in Glendale, Arizona.
The win was sparked by several of the younger, first-time call-ups, with Julian Hall scoring in his third straight U.S. appearance and Cavan Sullivan becoming the country's youngest-ever scorer when he converted from range 15 minutes into the second half. Malik Tillman then added a third late on after El Tri defender Mateo Chavez was sent off for appearing to slap Sebastian Berhalter.
Here's how the action played out. Up next for the U.S.: a date with Canada in Minnesota on Tuesday.
