Real Madrid, Man Utd, Liverpool: The all-time European Cup league table

The Champions League is back!

The greatest club competition in football returns this week – and we can’t wait.

We’re treated to Paris Saint-Germain vs Real Madrid on Tuesday, while contenders Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Liverpool are all in action against Sporting, RB Salzburg and Inter Milan respectively.

Next week sees Chelsea face Lille, Villarreal take on Juventus, Atletico Madrid versus Manchester United and Benfica against Ajax.

Using ‘World Football’ stats, we’ve compiled an all-time European Cup table and Real Madrid are miles clear at the top.

A total of 353 clubs have played in the European Cup and a full league table can be found here.

But here we’ll bring you the top 100 to have ever played in the European Cup.
