Real Madrid 0-4 Barcelona: Thomas Muller's tweet after crazy El Clasico

Barcelona fans will not forget last Sunday’s El Clasico for a long, long time.

After a couple of years of struggling against Real Madrid, the Blaugrana bounced back to down their arch rivals in epic fashion.

The Catalan side ran out 4-0 winners in the Bernabeu thanks to a brace from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and goals from Ronald Araujo and Ferran Torres.

That scoreline actually flattered Real Madrid in truth, as Barcelona could have scored seven or eight on the night.

The performance from Xavi Hernandez’s troops was of the very highest order and it even had Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller tweeting out praise.

Muller is one of Barcelona’s old foes after tormenting them in Champions League action down the years.

In six appearances against the Spanish club, he’s scored seven goals, more than any other player in the competition’s history.

But even Muller had to make his feelings of adoration towards Barcelona known after their El Clasico masterclass.

The Germany international posted a brilliant tweet soon after the full-time whistle had been blown and as you probably guessed, his message has gone viral.

Congrats @FCBarcelona
