Ravi Bishnoi gets maiden call-up for Windies series, Kuldeep Yadav makes comeback

The selectors have also decided to try out up and coming right-arm wrist-spinner Ravi Bishnoi for the home series against West Indies beginning from Feb 6 in Ahmedabad. The selectors were at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) where newly-appointed full-time white-ball captain Rohit Sharma was due to take a fitness test. Upon passing the test, Rohit went into the meeting to pick the squad for the T20I and ODI series.

Rahul Dravid will bring in a "lot of steel" in the current Indian team and his role will be more of a 'Man Manager' rather than of a conventional coach which is an obsolete concept, reckons Australian spin wizard Shane Warne.

Rohit Sharma also made a comeback after missing the Test and ODI series against South Africa due to a hamstring injury.
