Ravens complete trade for Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett - ESPN
The Baltimore Ravens have completed their trade for Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett, the teams announced Friday.
The Ravens will acquire Brissett and a 2027 fifth-round pick for a fourth-round pick in 2027 and seventh-round pick in 2028, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The teams were finalizing a trade to send Brissett to Baltimore ahead of the Ravens' 33-10 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday. Sources had told Schefter and Rapoport on Wednesday that Huntley will miss the rest of the season.
In the interim, undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano started for the Ravens on Thursday, going 10-for-18 for 60 yards with two interceptions in the loss to the Jaguars. Baltimore (4-5) was held under 14 points for a fourth straight game, breaking a team record in futility. The Ravens also have lost by 20 or more points in three straight games for the first time in their 31-year history.
Brissett had been benched this week by the Cardinals, who named Gardner Minshew II as their starting quarterback moving forward. Rookie Carson Beck was named the backup with Brissett as the third-stringer.
Going back to Week 6 of the 2025 season, Brissett had started the past 20 games for the Cardinals before he was benched late in the third quarter of Sunday's 33-30 overtime victory over the Dallas Cowboys. Brissett asked for a trade Monday when coach Mike LaFleur called to tell him about the shake-up in the quarterbacks room, a source told ESPN.
