Ratings: Sexton in a class of his own in semi-final win

An absolutely ruthless Leinster performance from start to finish as they return to the Champions Cup final for the sixth time.

The 40-17 win against Toulouse looks big on paper, and they were full value for the 23-point victory, Hugo Keenan's try in the final minute of the game a just reward for their dominance.

Here's how we rated Leo Cullen's side...

Hugo Keenan - 8

Had to pick his moments, but managed the game excellently. Made a big first half break after Furlong's incredible pass, while he also led the team in metres, running for 95 metres off his 10 carries. Got a deserved try at the very end to cap off a fine game

Jimmy O'Brien - 7

With so much of Leinster's attack coming through Sexton and Lowe, O'Brien had to be patient during the game, but picked off two lengthy runs to get them up to the Toulouse 22.

Garry Ringrose - 7

Didn't get to see as much action as his centre partner Henshaw, but made good decisions around distribution and defence, with a crucial tackle on Pierre Fouyssac in the opening half to cut out a potential Toulouse chance.

Robbie Henshaw - 8

All action stuff from Henshaw who hit double figures in both carries and tackles. His carries in particular were hard and direct, and gave his team a real platform to attack off.

James Lowe - 9

It was Sexton's day, but Lowe was outstanding his own right. His two tries were simple finishes, but his overall game was exceptional. His kicking was precise and deep, while he showed all of his skill to nearly put Jimmy O'Brien clear for a try on 66 minutes, catching a crossfield kick on the touchline, and offloading to his fellow wing while still in the air. A player at the top of his game.

Johnny Sexton - 10

It takes something pretty special to hand out a 10 in these ratings,
