Raphael Varane makes Manchester United fitness declaration for Tottenham Hotspur fixture

Raphael Varane has confirmed that he will be fit to play for Manchester United against Tottenham on Saturday.

The French centre half missed Sunday's 4-1 defeat to Manchester City after he contracted Covid-19. But, speaking to the official United website, Varane has now confirmed that he is back and available for selection this weekend, in a significant boost to Ralf Rangnick's side.

"Yeah, I’m OK. I’m training normally," he explained. Varane was pictured returning to United's Carrington training base on Wednesday and the MEN reported that he was fit to train.
