Ranked: Preston North End’s top 10 most valuable players in the current squad

Preston North End have been lifted by a really memorable midweek win over Blackpool, with Ryan Lowe revelling in the derby atmosphere.

It’s wins like that, coming via a Cameron Archer goal, which will make this season memorable, despite it being fairly mediocre in terms of league position.

Lowe has had a good impact at Deepdale beyond that win over Blackpool, it has to be said, with Preston quite clearly building towards something in 2022/23.

That doesn’t mean that this season hasn’t been a touch disappointing, though, with mid-table beckoning.

Given the riches of the Championship that’s maybe all that Preston could’ve hoped for going up against expensively assembled squads at Fulham, Sheffield United and Bournemouth, amongst others.
