Rangers squad revealed as Aaron Ramsey return leaves Gio van Bronckhorst split between favoured duo or bold call

Giovanni van Bronckhorst has three big name returnees for Rangers this weekend as they take on Jim Goodwin's Aberdeen.

Aaron Ramsey will be back in contention after sitting out recent matches.

And there were fears when Ryan Jack and Filip Helander were ruled out in midweek – but there's relief for the Ibrox faithful as both return for Saturday afternoon.

It gives Van Bronckhorst some much needed options in defence but a riddle to solve in the middle of the park.

He could place his favoured midfield pivot of Jack and John Lundstram together again - or be tempted to throw Ramsey in for a crucial home showdown.

Goal hero at St Johnstone, Glen Kamara, could of course retain his place too.

Helander returning means there is finally some competition for the left centre-back slot alongside Connor Goldson - he's finally fit at the same time as Leon Balogun.

Van Bronckhorst said: "We have more players available. Helander, Jack and Ramsey are back.

"We are only missing Hagi, Davis and Diallo."
