Rangers' Champions League jealousy is like a 'homeless man' slagging Celtic's curtains as Hotline prediction comes true
Rangers will kick off their Europa League campaign in Sweden on Thursday. But the Celtic support reckon their Ibrox rivals have a cheek questioning their achievements in UEFA’s top tournament last week.
Steve McSherry, Uddingston, said: “After Celtic’s demolition of Slovan Bratislava, we just knew that Rangers fans’ jealousy would rear its head and, bingo, they were on the Hotline trying to belittle Celtic’s achievement. It's a bit like a homeless man standing outside your house criticising your curtains. Let’s see how a very poor Rangers side does against Malmo in the much inferior Europa League.”

But Rangers fan Gary Stevenson, Newtonhill, isn’t impressed. He said: “You have to laugh at the Celtic regulars on the Hotline. They criticised the standard of opposition when Rangers got results against RB Leipzig, Benfica and Borussia Dortmund. Now that they have beaten one of the giants of Europe in Slovan Bratislava they expect compliments from all across the United Kingdom. Reality Check needed."
