'Raid them again' - Manchester United fans make same Erik ten Hag request as Ajax dominate Rangers

Fans of Ajax and Manchester United have been saying the same thing following the former's dominant first half performance against Rangers in the Champions League.

The Amsterdam club have been all over the Scottish side at the Johan Cruyff Arena as the two sides meet in their first group stage fixture of this season's competition. Edson Alvarez nodded the Eredivisie champions in front after 17 minutes before Steven Berghuis made it two following a deflection.

Just a minute later it was three for the hosts as Mohammed Kudus scored a beautiful solo effort to add further gloss to the half-time scoreline. The Gers had little response to the onslaught from Ajax and face an uphill battle in the second half to get anything out of the fixture.

According to fans of both the Dutch and English teams, the consensus is that they are not missing Ten Hag – although United fans are now keen to see their club bring in more players from their manager's former side. Here is what they had to say on Twitter.
