Arsenal are said to be interested in signing Rafael Leao from AC Milan in the summer transfer window after missing out on Dusan Vlahovic last month.
According to La Repubblica, the Gunners have now turned their attention to the 22-year-old attacker, who has been in decent form for Milan this season.
In all competitions, the Portuguese forward has played 27 times and has contributed with 16 direct goal contributions in the process, with Arsenal clearly impressed with what they have seen.
As per WhoScored, Leao's strengths are dribbling with the ball at his feet and shooting from long range, but he can definitely improve his passing and how much he tracks back to help in a defensive sense.
Mikel Arteta, at the moment, has the likes of Nicolas Pepe, Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe, who can all play in the wide areas.
However, Pepe, who has seen limited time on the pitch this season, could look to leave the club at the end of the season to register more playing time, theoretically paving the way for Leao to come in.
