Raducanu loses in second round of Miami Open

Emma Raducanu was beaten by Katerina Siniakova 3-6 6-4 7-5 in the second round of the Miami Open.

The British No 1 had received a bye in the first round and took the opening set confidently on her debut in Miami. However, Siniakova overcame her early challenges and physical issues to level the match.

Raducanu started the deciding set strongly, she went up a break twice and served for the match. However, the 19-year-old let the momentum slip at 5-5 and missed vital shots wide or deep.
