Racing games coming in the second half of 2022

So far, 2022 has been a very good year for racing video games.

Gran Turismo 7 is a magnificent comeback, despite a few bugs at first.

Supercars that can be driven are also featured in F1 22 along with newly built F1 cars that handle quite differently.

GRID Legends is terribly underappreciated if you love approachable arcade racing because it was unfairly eclipsed by GT7.

This year, we’ve also had several excellent independent racers. Slipstream is a beautiful tribute to classic arcade racing, while Redout 2 is the furiously fast game that comes closest to a fresh WipEout release.

Several of the racing games that the gaming community were probably most looking forward to have been delayed until 2023. Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown’s release has been postponed until sometime in 2023, contrary to initial expectations.

Microsoft stated that Forza Motorsport would launch on Xbox Series X in the spring of 2023 instead of the anticipated later this year. Additionally postponed till 2024 is the eagerly anticipated official British Touring Car Championship game.
