It seems like a whole lifetime ago that Crystal Palace were last in the Football League, sealing a promotion to the Premier League back in the 2012/13 season.

They have since spent every campaign in the top flight – meaning they have lasted an impressive eight seasons there so far and have become an established team in that division. Whilst they’ve never really challenged in the top eight or for Europe (their highest finish is 10th since their promotion) they’ve still been fairly solid.

Under Patrick Vieira this year, they have also defied the odds and look like they could stay up. Many tipped them for the drop but the former Arsenal player has had them putting in some impressive performances.
