Queen Elizabeth II's funeral: Tyson Fury sends heartfelt message
Current WBC world heavyweight champion, or recently retired boxer depending on who you believe, Tyson Fury has broken his social media silence by posting a respectful message on social media ahead of Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral later today.
The two-time world heavyweight champion revealed that his recent social media silence has been out of mourning and respect for Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away on September 8, at Balmoral Castle in Aberdeenshire.
The 34-year-old heavyweight took to Instagram today, however, to explain his social media silence, and to give his respects to The Queen and condolences to the Royal Family.
Fury said in his post to Instagram: “Hey guys, Queen’s funeral today. I’ve been off social media for the past 10 days mourning, in respect for our Queen who has died. Not posting nothing, not been interested in anything else to be fair. Hope all the funeral goes well, condolences to the full family, and may she rest in heaven for eternity. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.”
