PSL mourns passing of marketing guru Peter Mancer
PSL marketing guru Peter Mancer died on Monday evening the PSL confirmed.
'Squire', as he was affectionately known among the local soccer fraternity, served as the PSL Marketing and Broadcasting specialist advisor for many years.
Mancer brought joy to those around him and he earned a second nickname, 'Mancer the Dancer', referring to his love for dancing and the flashy moves at events.
''The Premier Soccer League (PSL) is mourning the sad passing of Mr Peter ‘Squire’ Mancer," the PSL said in a statement.
"We express our sincere condolences to the Mancer family," said PSL Chairman, Dr Irvin Khoza.
"Your loss is indeed our loss. Together with you, we will miss the gentle giant - Mancer the dancer. When I think about Squire, I think of pedigree, he was one of a kind. Dependable, tenacious, abundance of energy.
"His word was bankable."

The funeral arrangements will be announced in due course by The Mancer family.
