PSG Star Forced To Switch Off Social Media Comments Over Kylian Mbappe Injury

Kylian Mbappe could be out of Wednesday night's Champions League last 16 game with Real Madrid, and one player is getting the blame.

However, the French forward may not even be involved at the Bernabeu, after the 23-year-old got an injury in training on Monday afternoon.

It was initially feared that there might be a fracture to Mbappe's foot, after the forward was left in agony on the ground following the accidental challenge.

According to reports a scan has revealed that there hasn't been a fracture but there is still doubt about the forward playing in the game.

Idrissa Gana Gueye, who was the man who tackled his teammate during a training drill, and the former Everton midfielder has received online abuse for the incident.

Gueye, and his wife, have both been forced to switch off comments on their Instagram accounts due to the abuse that they've been on the receiving end of.

Whilst others are blaming the midfielder for the incident, it's clear that Mbappe isn't annoyed at his teammate, no doubt accepting it's one of those things.

The former Monaco forward took to social media to post a picture with the midfielder, saying, "All together, always as Paris."

Going into the first leg, all eyes were already on Mbappe, due to the strong rumours that he will move to the Spanish capital in the summer, when his PSG contract expires.

Pochettino will be desperate to have him available on Wednesday, especially after his side lost without the World Cup winner against Nice at the weekend.
