South Africa will host and open the ICC T20 Women's World Cup against Sri Lanka at Newlands on Friday, 10 February 2023.

Fans can now buy tickets for all 23 matches as the top 10 teams in the world vie for the renowned ICC trophy, with the final set for Newlands on Sunday, 26 February.

Ticket prices start at R60 discounts available for scholars and pensioners while families can make the most of the action with kids under six allowed into all venues free of charge.

South Africa is in Group 1 alongside Sri Lanka, Australia, New Zealand and Bangladesh. Group 2 sees England, Pakistan, Ireland, West Indies and India.

The Western Cape will play host to a bumper opening weekend of the Women's T20 World Cup with the first match between the Proteas and Sri Lanka set for 19:00.

Boland Park will host the first double-header, with England and the West Indies in action in the early match, followed by defending champions Australia taking on New Zealand. The four sub-continent sides will headline the second double-header at Newlands on Sunday as India take on Pakistan and Bangladesh face Sri Lanka.

The T20 World Cup, which is a ground-breaking opportunity for cricket in South Africa, will look to be the most inclusive and accessible cricket tournament ever played in the country, forming part of back-to-back World Cups that will leave a legacy to grow girls' and women's participation.
