Proteas to face Afghanistan, Black Caps in Cricket World Cup warm-up clashes
All 10 teams participating in the 2023 Cricket World Cup will play two warm-up matches in the build-up to the tournament.

The matches will occur in late September, early October, with the Proteas scheduled to meet Afghanistan (Friday, 29 September) and New Zealand (Monday, 2 October).
Other big-name matches see India against England and Pakistan against Australia.

The Cricket World Cup takes place in India and includes 48 matches from 5 October, with the final on 19 November.
England are the current world champions after they defeated New Zealand in a Super Over at the 2019 final at Lords.
