Proteas rocked again by Aussies, series whitewash possible despite rain
Australia need 14 South African wickets on the final day of the third and final Test in Sydney to claim a 3-0 series whitewash.
After two days of rain, there was finally some play on a shortened day four on Saturday, and it saw the Proteas struggle once more on what continues to be a nightmare tour.
At stumps, the Proteas were 149/6, needing another 127 to avoid the follow-on.

Australia declared their first-innings on 475/4 with Usman Khawaja 195* before the Proteas top order failed again.
Dean Elgar (15), Sarel Erwee (18) and Heinrich Klaasen (2) all departed, leaving South Africa at 37/3 and staring down the barrel once more.
There was some resistance from Temba Bavuma (35) and Khaya Zondo (39), but that was as good as it got for the tourists.
Marco Jansen (10*) and Simon Harmer (6*) will resume on day five.
