"Pretty sure he's going to Spurs" - Journalist confident Levy now closing in on transfer deal

Tottenham target Fraser Forster is set to join Antonio Conte’s side this summer, according to Tom Barclay of The Sun.

The Southampton goalkeeper has been identified as someone who can provide cover for Hugo Lloris, and Barclay is confident the north London club will get their man.

The Daily Mail recently reported that Forster has completed a medical at Hotspur Way ahead of a move to Tottenham.

The 34-year-old is available on a free transfer, with his £70,000-a-week Southampton contract expiring next month.

This season, Forster made 19 league appearances, managing to keep just the three clean sheets as Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men went on to finish 15th in the table – just five points above the relegation zone.

His game time is set to drop at Tottenham, however, with the Englishman only being brought in to deputise for Lloris.

Barclays has told GIVEMESPORT that Forster is definitely leaving St Mary’s this summer and is almost certain to join Spurs.

If reports are to be believed, then up to five more new faces could join Forster at Spurs should he arrive at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as expected.

As per The Telegraph, Conte wants Daniel Levy to make six signings this summer, with new defenders, midfielders and forwards all being lined up on top of Forster.

At the back, Alessandro Bastoni, Gleison Bremer and Djed Spence have all been mentioned, while James Ward-Prowse and Kalvin Phillips are thought
