Preston boss claim emerges as defender departure confirmed

Preston North End boss Ryan Lowe claimed his side were "well worthy" of a win after they were held at home by Nottingham Forest at Deepdale last night.

The two sides fought out a goalless draw although the Lilywhites had the better of the chances in the Championship clash.

Sanders has put pen to paper on a one-month youth loan with the Minstermen who are pushing for promotion.

York confirmed the move in a statement on their website although it is subject to National League approval.

Lyle Taylor's career at Nottingham Forest has yet to truly ignite at the City Ground but the Reds forward is clearly feeling the love at Birmingham City.

The forward, who is on loan at Blues for the rest of the season, has scored three goals in six games since being reunited with former Charlton boss Lee Bowyer at St Andrew's.
