Prendergast returns as Connacht make six changes for Scarlets

Cian Prendergast will make just his second appearance of the season for Connacht in tomorrow's BKT United Rugby Championship visit of the Scarlets to Galway.

The flanker comes onto the back row for Andy Friend's side, having missed the last three games due to his commitments with Emerging Ireland.

Prendergast is one of six changes from the side that were beaten by Leinster last week, with Conor Oliver also returning to the back row, with the pair packing down either side of number 8 Paul Boyle.

Gavin Thornbury misses out, with Leva Fifita coming into the second row to partner Niall Murray, while Denis Buckley returns to the front-row, replacing the injured Peter Dooley.

Experienced pair Tiernan O'Halloran and Kieran Marmion return, with Marmion partnering Jack Carty in the half-backs.

O'Halloran fits in at full-back, between wingers Mack Hansen and John Parch, with David Hawkshaw and Byron Ralston continuing in the centres.

Connacht: Tiernan O'Halloran; John Porch, Byron Ralston, David Hawkshaw, Mack Hansen; Jack Carty (capt), Kieran Marmion; Denis Buckley, Dave Heffernan, Finlay Bealham; Niall Murray, Leva Fifita; Cian Prendergast, Conor Oliver, Paul Boyle.

Replacements: Dylan Tiernay-Martin, Jordan Duggan, Jack Aungier, Oisin Dowling, Jarrad Butler, Colm Reilly, Cathal Forde, Alex Wootton
