A supercomputer has totted up the numbers and named a best eleven of players not plying their trade in the so-called ‘big six’.
By excluding players that represent Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United - a team that constitutes the best of the rest has been drawn up.
Number crunchers from BetVictor, using data from FBRef, calculate a Z score for each player based on their offensive and defensive contributions.
It is then weighted to those who produce the most output per 90 minutes to see which stars are outperforming their rivals.
It will be of particular interest to Man United, with West Ham skipper Declan Rice and Wolves star Ruben Neves both named in midfield.
The pair have both been linked with potential moves to Old Trafford in the summer having spearheaded their respective sides to the cusp of European football.
But neither have performed to the early levels of Kieran Trippier - with the Newcastle United January signing, statistically top of the pile for outfield players, albeit with a very small sample size of just four games back in the Premier League.
In those games, Trippier found the net on two occasions, conceding just a pair of goals as the Magpies finally found some form.
It is no surprise to see Wolves ‘keeper Jose Sa in the sticks, with the former Olympiacos ace rightly lauded as one of the signings of the summer.
Replacing Rui Patricio is no mean
