Police want to speak to these women after purse stolen from pensioner

Police have released CCTV images of three women they want to speak to after a pensioner's purse was stolen.

A woman in her 70s was shopping in Warrington when she noticed her purse was missing from her bag. The incident happened at around 1.30pm on August 7 on Sankey Street.

Officers are now appealing to members of the public to help them trace three women wanted in connection with the theft, reports CheshireLive.

The women were seen leaving the area in a car which has links to the Huddersfield area of West Yorkshire.

PC Graham Davies said: “We’ve been making enquiries in the area and have identified that the women may be linked to the Huddersfield area.

"I’d urge anyone who recognises these women or has any information that will help identify the suspects to contact me.”
