Police want to speak to these men after man dragged outside Piccadilly station and attacked

Officers have released CCTV images of two men they wish to speak to following a violent robbery at Manchester Piccadilly.

British Transport Police (BTP) says two men dragged the victim to the ground outside the main doors of the station.

They then punched and kicked him, before taking his bag. CCTV images have been shared by BTP on social media today (November 13).

Police hope the pair could have vital information about the incident which could help with their investigation. The incident took place at 11.20pm on Friday, October 6.

Anyone who recognises either of the men in the images is asked to come forward. A spokesperson for BTP North West posted on X (formerly Twitter): "These men may be able to help our investigation into a violent robbery at Manchester Piccadilly station.

"Recognise them? Text 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40 with [reference number] 773 of October 6." Alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
