Police catch up with JCB taken from building site
Greater Manchester police caught up with a JCB loadall that had been taken from building site where a burglary had been reported.
Officers from Bolton intercepted the loader in Leigh on Sunday night. They thanked 'vigilant' members of the public after the recovery of the vehicle.
Greater Manchester Police Bolton South tweeted at 11.28pm yesterday that a male had made off with a Loadall. It said: "Officers received reports of a burglary on a building site and a male had made off in a JCB loadall.
"After a thorough search of the surrounding areas, the JCB was identified in Leigh by officers. Thank-you to the vigilant members of public that reported the incident."
