Police ask for help in hunt for convicted robber wanted on recall to prison

Police are hunting for a convicted robber from Oldham who is wanted on recall on prison.

Andrew Grimes was released from jail in November 2018, police said. He was put behind bars for robbery in March 2015.

Officers are now trying to track down the 33-year-old, who is known to have links to the Failsworth area. Members of the public are being asked to help find him.

A mugshot of Grimes has been released on social media as part of an appeal. Anyone with information about his whereabouts should contact police on 0161 856 4276 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
