Pogacar wins record-equalling fifth Tour de France title, Van der Poel takes final stage
PARIS, France, July 26 : Tadej Pogacar won a record-equalling fifth Tour de France title on Sunday after safely completing the final stage, won by Mathieu van der Poel.
The Slovenian joins Jacques Anquetil, Eddy Merckx, Bernard Hinault and Miguel Indurain as a five-time champion.
Pogacar's victory was his third in a row, with Belgium's Remco Evenepoel finishing second overall and Mexico's Isaac del Toro taking third.
