Player Ratings: Porter, Doris and Sheehan stand out for Leinster in spite of Champions Cup final defeat

An all-too familiar feeling for Leinster, as they lost a third successive Investec Champions Cup final. The wait for their fifth star goes on.

It will come as little consolation to Leo Cullen's side and their supporters that their 31-22 extra-time defeat to Toulouse will go down as one of the tournament's greatest finals, and Leinster played their part in that classic.

Here's how we rated the Leinster players at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium...

Hugo Keenan - 6

Keenan didn't do much wrong, but Leinster's blunt attacking, and trouble at the ruck, meant that they struggled to get through enough phases to really bring him into the line. He did make one crucial kick-chase and tackle on Ntamack on 75 minutes, forcing a knock-on which led to the scrum, from which they won their equalising penalty.

Jordan Larmour - 7

Like Keenan, Leinster struggled to get Larmour into the game from an attacking sense, but his last-ditch tackle on Lebel to knock the winger into touch kept Leinster in the game towards the end of normal time. Put Toulouse under a lot of pressure, and it was his retention of a box-kick in the 79th minute which gave them the platform to potentially win it. Defensively he got turned around by Ramos in midfield for the Toulouse try in extra-time.

Robbie Henshaw - 7

Ran himself into the ground, making a team high 19 carries, but aside from one excellent break through the middle of the pitch in the first half, couldn't do enough damage with the ball. Left a crucial pass short for Ross Byrne around the 12-minute mark which saw a promising attack end.

Jamie Osborne - 5

Got onto a lot of ball with 12 carries but consistently found himself running into walls, making just 11 metres with it. Looked nervous early on with the
