PIF plot major NUFC bid for "highly unpredictable" £83.7m gem, he "will be a star" - opinion

A major update has emerged regarding Newcastle United and their interest in Napoli centre-forward Victor Osimhen…

La Gazzetta dello Sport reported, via The Chronicle, that PIF are preparing to make a new bid for the attacker in the summer after failing to land him in the January transfer window.

The report claims that the Serie A outfit want a fee in the region of €100m (£83.7m) for the Nigeria international, which would be a club-record outlay for the Toon. However, it remains to be seen how much the Magpies are willing to offer for him.
