Pieter-Steph one of five Boks nominated for SA Rugby's Player of the Year award
World Rugby Player of the Year Pieter-Steph du Toit is one of five Springboks nominated for SA Rugby's Men's Player of the Year.
The others are Damian de Allende, Eben Etzebeth, Cheslin Kolbe and Ox Nche.
Etzebeth, who has won the award for the past two seasons, and Kolbe were also in line for this year's World Rugby award, while De Allende and Nche - both members of World Rugby's 2024 Dream Team - also had a stellar 2024 season.

The nominees were voted for by members of the media and coaching staff from the governing body, with the winners to be announced early next year.
Elsewhere, the likes of Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu, Cameron Hanekom, Jordan Hendrikse and Quan Horn - who all made their Test debuts in 2024 - were nominated for the Young Player of the Year Award along with Lions centre Henco van Wyk.
Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus has been nominated alongside Springbok Sevens mentor Philip Snyman and Bulls director of rugby Jake White for the Coach of the Year Award, while the world champion Boks, Blitzboks and Sharks will vie for the Team of the Year.
