Phil Foden wants Man City teammates to pause Erling Haaland excitement
Phil Foden believes Erling Haaland can improve Manchester City's attack next season - but insists the squad are not thinking about his arrival until the current season is completed.
City announced an agreement for Haaland's signing on Tuesday, 24 hours before the Blues recorded a big 5-1 win at Wolves. They have two games left in the Premier League, at West Ham and home to Aston Villa, with four points needed to secure back-to-back titles.
Pep Guardiola has been keen not to speak about Haaland too much since his signing, instead focussing on the remaining league games, and that is a mentality echoed by Foden.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Foden expressed his excitement about Haaland's impending arrival, but insisted there are still two huge games remaining.
"Obviously it’s a great addition to the team," Foden said, predicting that he will make a strong City side even stronger.
"He’s one of the best finishers in world football at the moment. He’s going to be great for us next season and hopefully he can help us. It's definitely such a big signing for the club.
"We've played without a striker this year and still done very well. He's going to be a great addition.
"We’re still trying to focus on this season because he's not going to be here until next. The main focus is this season, hopefully he can help next. He’s got a lot of physicality, loves to run in behind. I think it’ll definitely be good for our game."
