Perrin heads three rider Ready4Racing Kawasaki line up

Jamie Perrin returns to British Supersport spearheading a three rider Ready4Racing Vision Kawasaki team for 2022.

Set up by Gino Rea and Elliott Mumford of Vision in 2019 to help encourage younger riders achieve their dreams of becoming top level road racers, the Ready4Racing Vision Kawasaki team expands to triple its support for the coming season.

For 2022 R4R Vision will run three riders within the British Superbike support classes as Dan Brooks and Chris Johnson compete in Junior Superstock 600 alongside Perrin’s BSS assault, with ‘Team Green’ support for the trio across the season. Having contested the British GP2 Cup in 2021, finishing in seventh place and securing five podiums, Perrin will return to the main Supersport class aboard a Ninja ZX-6R 636. Brooks focuses his attention for another year on the stock 600 machine, having made good progress throughout 2021 to finished 16th overall in the class despite his last minute replacement status, while Johnson steps up from Junior Supersport to run alongside.

“I’m excited to be joining the R4R Vision Team for 2022, they have given me the opportunity to get back into the Supersport class which is where I have had all my best results in the past,” Perrin confirmed. “Using the Kawasaki ZX-6R and the teams knowledge of the bike from running it in the stocks, there is no reason we won’t be fighting for podiums every weekend.
