Manchester United will step up their pre-season preparations when they travel to the United States on Wednesday for their pre-season tour.
The Reds will play three friendlies during their stay in the US, facing Arsenal, Real Betis and Liverpool. Each outing will help Erik ten Hag's players prepare for the season opener against Manchester City in the Community Shield at Wembley on August 10.
Alongside preparing for the new season on the pitch, United are working tirelessly off it to provide Ten Hag with all the tools he needs. After signing Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna last Sunday, Leny Yoro arrived from Lille on Thursday.

United entered this summer's transfer window with the ambition of strengthening both up front and at centre-back. To have achieved both of those objectives before flying out to the US deserves recognition.
However, United are not done yet, with the addition of a defensive midfielder still a leading objective. They are also still open to bringing in at least one more centre-back, while further additions in other areas cannot be dismissed.
United will also want to increase their number of outgoings. They have so far offloaded Alvaro Fernandez, Willy Kambwala, Donny van de Beek and Mason Greenwood.
To complete their 25-man squad for the forthcoming season, United need to oversee more wheeling and dealing. Ten Hag wants to increase the level of quality throughout his squad and that means assembling an improved level of depth.
