Perez confident luck will change in Melbourne

The Red Bull driver produced the ‘lap of his life’ to take the first pole position of his Formula 1 career last time out in Saudi Arabia, and had been leading the race well before pitting, but an ill-timed Virtual Safety Car period allowed those around him to pit with less of a loss of time, which eventually dropped him down to P4 in the race.

But Formula 1 moves on and the sport has rocked up in Australia for the third race of 2022, with a revised Albert Park layout set to be used for the first time.
