Pep Guardiola press conference LIVE Man City updates for Crystal Palace clash in Premier League

Pep Guardiola will speak to the media ahead of Manchester City's next Premier League fixture on Monday at Crystal Palace.

In a change from his usual schedule, where pre-match press conferences take place on Friday, Guardiola will face questions from reporters on Thursday this week - four days before the Monday trip to Selhurst Park.

After City drew with Sporting on Wednesday night to confirm a quarter-final place in the Champions League, Guardiola says he couldn't confirm whether Joao Cancelo (illness) or Nathan Ake (injury) would be back in time to face Palace. With less than 24 hours since those comments, it's unlikely Guardiola can give any further updates.

Guardiola could offer his thoughts on Patrick Vieira's progress as Palace manager, as well as the need to record a victory given City are not in Premier League action for another three weeks after this game.

The big news on Thursday morning saw Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich hit with sanctions from the British government, a topic Guardiola will also likely be questioned about.
