Pep Guardiola press conference LIVE Man City team news vs West Ham and Haaland updates

Pep Guardiola will speak to the media on Friday ahead of Manchester City's big Premier League trip to West Ham on Sunday.

With Liverpool in the FA Cup final on Saturday, City have a chance to open up a six-point lead at West Ham, with Liverpool having just two games left and an inferior goal difference. Victory at the London Stadium would place one hand on the Premier League trophy, but City lost there earlier in the season in the Carabao Cup, and David Moyes' side can still secure Europa League football next season.

Guardiola could be without all his preferred centre-back options with Aymeric Laporte and Fernandinho substituted at Wolves with fresh concerns on Wednesday. John Stones, Ruben Dias and Kyle Walker are all out for the remaining fixtures, and Nathan Ake wasn't fit enough to start against Wolves.

The manager should give an update on the fitness of his side, as well as his revelation that he won't sign a new deal until next summer. He could also be asked about Erling Haaland's signing.

Follow below for every word from Guardiola's press conference.

City could be left with two fit senior defenders for the trip to West Ham. This is the latest state of play before Guardiola hopefully gives an update shortly:
