Pep Guardiola confirms Man City injury blow ahead of Liverpool double header
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says he only has two players unavailable with a double headers against Liverpool looming.
The Reds take on Man City in the Premier League on April 10 at the Etihad Stadium, with both teams vying for the title. Then just a few days later, Liverpool take on City yet again in the quarter-final of the FA Cup at Wembley Stadium.
Liverpool still have a chance of winning an unprecedented quadruple, following their success in the Carabao Cup. Guardiola’s outfit could win a treble should they pip the Reds to the Champions League, FA Cup and Premier League.
Jurgen Klopp has spoken about Liverpool’s current injury list, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Naby Keita the only doubts going into this weekend’s round of matches. For City, they were handed potential fitness scares on some of their players during the international break.
