FA Vase round-up: Corinthian, Snodland Town, Kennington, Hythe Town, Tunbridge Wells and Sutton Athletic among winners in the first round
Corinthian put their league struggles behind them to produce an emphatic FA Vase victory on Saturday.
The Southern Counties East Premier Division side brushed aside Staines & Lammas (Middlesex) 7-1 at Gay Dawn Farm in the first round.
There were hat-tricks for Tom Mitcham and Jack Billings after James Billings had opened the scoring after 10 minutes as the hosts raced into a 5-1 half-time lead.
A stoppage-time winner by Kane Taylor saw Faversham Strike Force defeat lower-league Greenways 2-1 at The Belmont.
Dan Ashton put Greenways ahead before half-time but Alex Willis levelled on 73 minutes before Taylor won it to prevent the tie going to spot-kicks.
There was late drama at Reachfields as well, where Tomi Adegbulugbe scored the only goal of the game with three minutes left as Hythe beat Peacehaven & Telscombe.
A goal in either half from Nathaniel Olawole and substitute Paul Lee saw Snodland win 2-0 at Cove while Phoenix Sports lost 1-0 at Berks County.
Kennington produced a five-star display to defeat lower-league Rochester.
Liam Middleton and Ryan Philpott put Ton in charge before the prolific Jack Nelson replied on 40 minutes.
But Euan Biggleston and a brace from Rajan Sahni ensured Kennington's progress to Monday’s draw.
Jack Hopkins scored the only goal of the game as Punjab United defeated Wembley.
An own goal settled the derby between hosts Rusthall and Tunbridge Wells with the visitors emerging from Jockey Farm as 1-0 winners.

Second-half goals from Abdou Jobe and George Dennis were not enough for SC Thamesmead, beaten 4-2 at Eastbourne United.
