Paul Pogba is happy to leave his future undecided until the summer

Paris Saint-Germain are assembling a lucrative homecoming package to sign Paul Pogba on a free transfer this summer but the France star is ready to leave his future undecided until the end of the season.

And Pogba, Sportsmail understands, is not ruling out extending his stay at Manchester United.

The fit-again midfielder's future remains hugely uncertain heading into the final four months of his contract at Old Trafford.

Pogba is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with an overseas club but is yet to make a final decision on his future, instead focusing his attention on regaining full fitness following a long-term thigh injury.

And French giants PSG are understood to be among the clubs with a serious interest in taking Pogba on a Bosman deal ahead of next season.

If the World Cup winner leaves United on a free transfer this summer he will undoubtedly command a lucrative contract, which is likely to be the last major deal of his career.

And the Ligue 1 club's vast wealth means they are well-placed to launch a successful bid to bring Pogba back to France.

Despite his popularity in his homeland, Pogba has never played a senior domestic club game in France since leaving Le Havre for United's academy in 2009.

And while securing Pogba the player is of huge attraction to PSG, there is also a feeling that bringing the 28-year-old back to France would be of major benefit commercially, too.

However, sources close to the situation insist Pogba remains undecided on his next move and could even stay at United.

Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid are also monitoring Pogba's situation and are likely to make pre-contract offers.
