Paul Flynn's All-Ireland Football Championship predictions

There are four big games in the All-Ireland series on Saturday.

Armagh take on Westmeath (6pm) and Dublin take on Roscommon (5pm).

I can see Armagh and Dublin coming through those matches.

So for me the two games of the weekend are Donegal-Tyrone (7.15pm) and Louth-Meath (5.30pm).

Donegal v Tyrone is a repeat of the Ulster semi-final but this time it's in Ballybofey.

For me, Tyrone should have won that day. I thought they were in control of the game going down the stretch.

They just sat back and tried to maintain possession, and invited Donegal back into it in a tight affair.

But there were guys that day like Conn Kilpatrick and Michael O’Neill who were only coming back into the fold and with a couple more weeks training under their belts, they’ll be better.

Tyrone will be waiting in the long grass and if there’s any hangover from the Ulster final from Donegal’s perspective I think Tyrone can hurt them.

The form of Oisin Gallen, Peadar Mogan and the O’Donnells has just been phenomenal and the Jim McGuinness factor is huge but I’m going to tip a Tyrone win, by the finest margins.

Louth taking on Meath is a really interesting one.

Colm O’Rourke was fairly clear in his thoughts on the Leinster championship, calling it a shambles, but there was nothing shambolic about Louth’s performance in Leinster this year. In particular in the final against Dublin.

They have been phenomenal under Ger Brennan.

There’s a bit of history to this one. It’s almost 50 years since Louth have beaten Meath in a championship game, so it will be progress for them If they can overcome their close rivals.

Meath definitely won’t fear Louth, they beat them in the league this year, but we saw the leadership in the Louth forward line and the quality they have against
