Patrice Evra’s Premier League predictions including Man Utd vs Arsenal

The games are coming thick and fast and there is no let-up with another huge round of fixtures this weekend.

Arsenal news, exclusives and analysis

Old Trafford plays host to the biggest game of the weekend with a rejuvenated Manchester United playing host to Arsenal who boast a 100% record after five games.

Struggling Villa face a huge task if they are to take anything from Manchester City for whom Erling Haaland looks unstoppable. Chelsea, meanwhile, could hand a debut to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang against West Ham while Spurs will hope to extend their unbeaten start against Fulham.

Betfair Ambassador Patrice Evra previews the action…

The Merseyside derby. I will go with Liverpool because I think their season has properly started now. They didn’t play badly at the start but the results weren’t there. Everton are struggling, they still don’t have a win and I feel so sorry for Lampard, this is the worst moment to play Liverpool. Klopp’s side are looking for consistency and they are going to be looking to challenge City again. Prediction: 3-0.

Betfair Odds: Everton 7/1, Draw 4/1, Liverpool 2/5

Every game against Fulham will be a tough one, they were unlucky against Arsenal. Mitrovic will be on the score sheet again. But, in this one, I’m going to go for Tottenham because they have that winning mentality with Conte. He won’t want to miss an opportunity to keep that momentum going. Prediction: 2-1.

Betfair Odds: Spurs 40/85, Draw 7/2, Fulham 6/1

All the Bournemouth players will be looking to prove themselves. Nottingham Forest will be looking to fight for the points at home. I can see this one being a draw. Prediction 1-1.

Betfair Odds: Nottm Forest Evens, Draw 5/2, Bournemouth 29/10

Sterling is showing people why Tuchel bought him.
