Panthers trading Vatrano to Rangers for draft pick
The Florida Panthers are trading forward Frank Vatrano to the New York Rangers is exchange for a 2022 fourth-round pick.

Vatrano has 10 goals and 19 points in 49 game this season with the Panthers. The 28-year-old is a pending unrestricted free agent, carrying a cap hit of $2.53 million.

The trade comes just one day after Vatrano scored two goals in a win over the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday.
Vatrano scored a career-high 24 goals in his first full season with the Panthers in 2018-19, topping the 15-goal mark in each of the past two seasons.
Undrafted to begin his NHL career, Vatrano has 93 goals and 157 points in 379 games.
