Pam’s invitation to Flying Eagles excites Mighty Jets’ coach

Mighty Jets of Jos Head Coach, Festus Ukpebor, has described the invitation of Jahmang Pam, to the Flying Eagles team billed to take part in the WAFU B competition next month as a sign that the Jos-based team is going in the right direction.

Ukpebor stated that the talented player, who has experience playing abroad with academy teams of Manchester United and Leeds United, would be valuable to the Nigerian team’s aspirations in the WAFU competition.

After his spell abroad, Pam returned to Nigeria and trained with the Mighty Jets of Jos team and also participated in friendly matches involving the Plateau-based team.

The coach said: “Jahmang Pam is an abundant talent. He is full of knowledge and intelligence. I am a proud man and happy he is in the Flying Eagles. He will be a great addition because he can play as a central midfield player and can also play from the wings.

“I am delighted he is in the national camp and I am certain he will be in the final list that will make Nigeria proud in the WAFU B competition.” Pam’s football journey began in Jos, Plateau State at the age of nine. He attended the Manchester United Football Schools in Manchester, England where he showcased his skills during his stay.

The national U-20 team, the Flying Eagles under the tutelage of coach Aliyu Zubairu, is currently camping in Abuja in readiness for the WAFU B competition slated for next month.
